Turun yliopiston kuoro etsii taas uusia laulajia!
Turun yliopiston kuoro on Turun suurin, noin 60 laulajan sekakuoro. Harjoittelemme torstaisin kello 18-21 Educariumilla ja Arcanumilla.
Etsimme täydennystä kaikkiin stemmoihin. Koelaulut järjestetään keskiviikkona 13.1. Turun yliopiston Arcanum-rakennuksessa osoitteessa Vatselankatu 2. Vuoroaan voi odottaa Arcanumin aulatilassa, jossa paikalla myös kuorolaisia.

Valmistaudu esittämään koelaulussasi lyhyt säestyksetön kappale, esimerkiksi kansanlaulu tai lastenlaulu. Kuuntelemassa on kuoron arvovaltainen mutta lempeä raati, joka selvittää lisäksi äänialasi erilaisten harjoitusten avulla.
Valituille laulajille ilmoitetaan tuloksista myöhään toisen koelaulupäivän iltana (13.1.) ja kuoroon hyväksyttyjen toivotaan osallistuvan harjoituksiin heti torstaina 14.1. klo 18–21.
Otamme Covid-19 -tilanteen huomioon sekä harjoituksissa että koelauluissa. Harjoittelutiloissa pidämme turvavälit ja käytämme kasvomaskia. Lisäksi paikalla on aina käsidesiä. Muistathan pestä käsiäsi, huolehtia turvaväleistä ja pysyä kotona, jos sinulla on pieniäkin oireita. Emme tule oireisena treeneihin edes kuunteluoppilaaksi.

Turku University Choir is looking for new singers!
If you are for example an exchange student and wish to sing in good company, this is your chance!
Turku University Choir is the biggest mixed student choir in Turku. We rehearse on thursdays from 6pm to 9pm.
Auditions will be held on January 13th at 5pm. The address is Vatselankatu 2, and the building is called Arcanum. Choir members will keep you company in the lobby while you wait for your turn!

Please be prepared to sing a simple song of your choice without accompaniment. Your vocal range will also be tested with simple vocal exercises.
Results will be announced late in the evening of the second audition day (January 13th) and those accepted to the choir are hoped to participate rehearsals the next day, January 14th from 18:00 to 21:00. The rehearsals will be held in the Educarium and Arcanum buildings.
We have taken into account the current Covid-19 situation in both the auditions and rehearsals. We will keep safe distances and wear facial masks during rehearsals and there will also be hand disinfectant available. Remember to make sure to keep the safe distance, wash your hands and stay home if you have any (even mild) symptoms.
